Strawberry jam with balsamic vinegar and mustard

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g strawberries, cut into pieces
  • 80 g gelling sugar, 3:1
  • 100 g strawberries, diced
  • 100 ml balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tsp mustard, Dijon

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Preparation: Boil the diced strawberries with the balsamic vinegar until syrupy. Cut the remaining strawberries into pieces and cook them with the gelling sugar until jam is obtained. Then add the mustard and balsamic strawberries and bring everything back to a boil. While still hot, fill the jar and seal tightly. Pairs well with spicy semi-hard and hard cheeses (such as mountain cheese).
