Strawberry jam with chocolate

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 870 g strawberries, cleaned and chopped
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 vanilla pod(s), including the pulp
  • 25 g chocolate 70% cocoa content
  • 2 tbsp vodka
  • 500 g gelling sugar 2:1

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Rest time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

Combine prepared strawberries with the sugar, lemon juice, and vanilla seeds and let stand for about 20 minutes. Then bring to a boil according to the package instructions. Once boiling, add the chocolate and vodka and bring to a boil. Don’t forget to test for settling. Then pour the jam into clean jars and seal.
