Strawberry-Kiwi-Jam

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1,500 g strawberries
  • 500 g kiwifruit
  • 2 packs of gelling sugar, 2:1 (500g each)
  • 1 pack of citric acid (5 g)

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Wash the strawberries, drain, remove the stems, finely chop, and weigh out 1500g. Peel and finely chop the kiwi and weigh out 500g. Place the fruit and gelling sugar in a saucepan. Bring everything to a boil over high heat, stirring constantly. Boil gently for at least 3 minutes, then remove from the heat. Skim off any skims and immediately fill prepared jars to the brim. Secure with twist-off lids, turn upside down, and let stand on the lid for about 5 minutes. Makes 4-6 jars. Tip: I puree the fruit to ensure there are no chunks in the jam.
