Ingredients for 8 servings:

  • 1,000 g strawberries, fresh
  • Sugar (to taste)
  • 2 liters of wine, rosé
  • 2 bottles of sparkling wine

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 14 hours; Total time approx. 14 hours 15 minutes

Chop the strawberries and sweeten with sugar if desired. Refrigerate for about 2 hours. Place the strawberries and their resulting liquid in a punch bowl. Add the rosé wine. Chill the whole thing in the refrigerator overnight (at least 12 hours). Chill the sparkling wine as well. Shortly before serving, remove the punch from the refrigerator and pour in the sparkling wine. Tip: If you want to add ice cubes, make them from the rosé wine to prevent the punch from becoming watered down.
