Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 4 thick Bockwurst
- 2 onions
- 100 g cheese, grated
- 1 tbsp parsley, chopped
- 1 tbsp chives
- 75 ml crème fraîche
- 12 slices of bacon
- pepper
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes
Preheat the oven to 180°C (top/bottom heat). Cut deep cuts into the sausages lengthwise, leaving a tight fit at the bottom. Peel and finely dice the onions, and mix with the crème fraîche, herbs, and cheese. Season with pepper. Stuff the sausages into a mountain-like mass. Wrap three slices of bacon around each sausage and place the sausages on a baking sheet. Then roast in the oven for about 15 minutes. You can also use garlic crackers, if you like. Serve with a fresh salad and baguette.
