- 250 g flour

- 100 g sugar
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 100 g butter
- 200 g powdered sugar
- lemon juice
- 100 sweets (small gummy bears)
- Flour for the work surface
Instructions
Working time approx. 1 hour; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 3 hours
Sift the flour onto a baking board and knead it with the egg, sugar, vanilla sugar, and small pieces of butter to form a shortcrust pastry. Wrap the dough in aluminum foil and let it rest in the refrigerator for 2 hours. Preheat the oven to 200°C. Cut 30 pieces of dough one at a time and roll them into approximately 1 cm thick strands on a floured surface. Shape each roll into a letter and flatten them slightly. Bake the letters on the middle rack for 10-15 minutes. Mix the sifted powdered sugar with enough lemon juice to create a thick but spreadable glaze. Cover the warm letters with this glaze and press the gummy bears onto the soft glaze.
