Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g flour
  • ½ pack of baking powder
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 125 g sugar
  • 150 g pretzel(s) (mini pretzels)
  • 80 ml oil, neutral
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 300 g buttermilk
  • n. B. Chocolate coating, white
  • some pretzel sticks

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 55 minutes

Vicky’s Party Muffins

Preheat the oven to 180°C and either grease a muffin tin or line it with baking cups. Halve the pretzels and toss them with the flour, baking powder, and baking soda. Whisk the egg and add the sugar, vanilla sugar, oil, and buttermilk, and mix gently. Add the flour-pretzel mixture and mix everything into a smooth batter. Divide the batter evenly among the muffin cups and bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes. Then remove from the oven, let rest in the tin for another 5 minutes, and remove from the cups. Melt the chocolate coating, break the pretzels into pieces, and garnish the cooled muffins with them.
