Ingredients for 10 servings:
- 500 g mascarpone
- 1 kg quark
- e.g. cream (amount varies depending on the consistency of the mixture)
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar (bourbon)
- 1 pack of ladyfingers
- 500 packs of red fruit compote with berries from the refrigerated section
- 500 packs of red fruit compote with cherries from the refrigerated section
- 1 bar of white chocolate
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
Easy-to-prepare dessert, sweet, tart and fruity-sour at the same time.
Mix the mascarpone and quark. The ratio can be varied as desired. Add enough cream to make the mixture easy to stir. Stir in the sugar. Cut the ladyfingers into pieces and cover the bottom of a large baking dish with them, then pour the white mixture on top. Mix the two types of red fruit compote together and spread over the white mixture. (I mix two types of compote because I find the berries too sour and the cherries too sweet – adjust to your taste.) Grate the white chocolate and sprinkle it over the dish. Refrigerate the dessert until ready to serve. Tip: If you prefer, you can also make the red fruit compote yourself. The berries would have to be added to the pot right away. (Mixed berries with cherries are available in the freezer section.) The compote must then cool before use. This “sweet lasagna” is easy to prepare and can easily be left to cool for several hours before serving. Ideal for guests.
