Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g pork, rinsed, diced, seasoned with paprika
  • 500 g sauerkraut
  • 2 onions, finely chopped
  • 50 g lard
  • 2 tsp paprika powder
  • 1 potato(s), raw
  • 250 ml broth
  • 125 ml sour cream
  • 2 tbsp tomato ketchup
  • Salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Finely chop the onion and sauté it in the lard. Add the seasoned meat and brown it. Stir in the sauerkraut and potatoes, then add the broth and cream. Let everything simmer in the pot for at least 50-60 minutes. Stir frequently to prevent sticking. Finally, season with salt and tomato ketchup.
