Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 2 potatoes, approx. 400 g
- 2 tbsp butter, melted
- 50 g Parmesan, grated
- ½ tsp pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 2 shashlik skewers

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour
baked potato spirals
Drive the wooden skewers into the potatoes. Proceed carefully—you could hurt yourself! Then, using a knife, cut the potatoes into spirals and pull them apart slightly. Brush the potato spirals with melted butter. Mix together the Parmesan cheese, pepper, salt, and garlic powder and sprinkle over the potatoes. Place the potato spirals on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake in an oven preheated to 200°C (400°F) for about 45 minutes. Turn occasionally. Depending on the size of the spirals, the baking time may be longer. Sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve plain or with mayo, ketchup, or something similar.
