Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 400 ml milk
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 1 vanilla pod(s)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup of cream
  • 1 tsp, heaped cornstarch

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Ingeniously simple

Bring the milk, sugar, and vanilla bean seeds to a boil. Meanwhile, briefly beat the eggs with a hand mixer. Add the cornstarch and cream and beat briefly again. Stir the cream and egg mixture into the boiling milk with a whisk and bring to a boil briefly. Can be served hot or cold.
