Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 125 g butter or margarine
- 250 g sugar
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 3 drops of bitter almond flavor
- 1 pinch of salt
- ½ tsp gingerbread spice
- 350 g flour
- 50 g cocoa powder, dark, unsweetened
- 4 tsp, leveled baking powder
- 125 ml milk
- Amaretto
- powdered sugar
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
Cream the butter until fluffy, then gradually add the sugar, vanilla sugar, eggs, and spices. Stir in the sifted flour mixed with cocoa and baking powder alternately with the milk. Use only enough milk so that the batter falls easily from the spoon. Pour into a greased, floured, or breadcrumb-coated loaf pan. Bake for about 60 minutes at 180°C. Then pierce the cake several times with a wooden skewer or knitting needle, soak in Amaretto, and dust with powdered sugar.
