Tomato and onion salad with garlic

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 4 large tomatoes
  • ½ tsp, leveled salt
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 1 m.-large onion(s), red
  • ¼ tsp, heaped sugar
  • some pepper
  • 20 ml olive oil
  • 2 tsp balsamic vinegar, lighter
  • 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 handful of chives

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Fresh taste meets simplicity

First, cut the tomatoes into bite-sized pieces, removing the green stems. Place the sliced ​​tomatoes in a bowl, season with salt, and press in the garlic clove. Stir well and let stand for about 15 minutes. Meanwhile, roughly dice the onion. In a separate bowl, combine the dressing with olive oil, apple cider vinegar, light balsamic vinegar, sugar, pepper, and chives. Add the onions and dressing to the salad. Tip: If you like, you can also add a diced avocado and/or some chili flakes.
