Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 trout(s) (preferably salmon trout)
  • Butter or margarine
  • 100 g bacon, sliced, streaky
  • ¼ liter sour cream
  • pepper
  • Cayenne pepper
  • Paprika powder, sweet
  • Sugar
  • Salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Rinse the trout under running water and pat dry thoroughly. Season with salt inside and out. Place in a greased, shallow baking dish. Arrange the bacon slices slightly overlapping over the fish. Place the dish in a well-preheated oven. Season the sour cream with salt, pepper, cayenne pepper, sugar, and paprika. After about 15 minutes of steaming, pour over the trout. Continue steaming for another 5-10 minutes, depending on the size of the trout. Serve with parsley potatoes and a green salad. Fan oven: 180°C
