Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g turkey meat (turkey fillet or chicken breast fillet)
  • 1 can/n peach(s)
  • 4 onions
  • ¼ liter white wine
  • Vegetable broth (powder)
  • some butter
  • cornstarch

an unusual Spanish recipe

Cut the turkey breast or chicken breast fillet into bite-sized pieces. Peel and quarter the onions. Melt a little butter in a pan. Brown the meat and onions and deglaze with plenty of wine. Let it reduce slightly. Open the can of peaches and add the juice to the wine. Stir the vegetable stock powder into the broth until the desired flavor is achieved. (It’s difficult to give an exact amount, but with repeated tasting, the dosage shouldn’t be too difficult.) Quarter or eighth the peaches, add them, and heat through. If desired, thicken the sauce with a little cornstarch. Serve with rice or simply with baguette.
