Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 4 m.-sized schnitzel (turkey schnitzel)
- 1 tsp honey
- 1 tbsp cognac
- 1 tbsp orange juice
- some salt and pepper
- Seasoning (Fondor or Aromat)
- 100 g almond(s), peeled, ground
- 2 orange(s), untreated
- 4 orange slices, untreated
- aluminum foil
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes
Turkey steak with orange slices
Combine the marinade ingredients and toss the schnitzels in it. Grate the zest of 1-2 oranges (optional) and mix with the almonds. Toss the schnitzels in the almond-orange mixture and top each with an orange slice. Wrap in aluminum foil and place on the hot grill. Grill for 10-20 minutes, depending on the thickness of the meat. Tip: Serve with fruit rice and a light curry sauce. I recommend French white wine for the drink.
