Turkish Tomato Salad
The perfect turkish tomato salad recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 100 g Onions
- 0,5 tsp Salt
- 500 g Tomatoes
- 250 g Cucumber
- 0,5 bunch Flat leaf parsley
- 25 ml Lemon juice
- 25 ml Oil
- Salt
- 1 pinch Sugar
- Peel the onion, cut in half and cut into very fine slices.
- Sprinkle with salt and let rest for a few minutes.
- Rinse the onions briefly and squeeze them well.
- Core the tomatoes and cut into small cubes.
- Peel and halve the cucumber, remove the seeds with a teaspoon and also cut into small cubes.
- Pluck the parsley from the stalks and roughly chop.
- Mix lemon juice, oil and salt and pour over the salad.
- Season to taste with pepper and a pinch of sugar.
- If you like it spicy, you can add a chopped pepperoni.
