Ukrainian Style Apple Pie
The perfect ukrainian style apple pie recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 4 Apples
- 4 Eggs
- 100 g Sugar
- 200 g Flour
- Butter for greasing the springform pan, flour
- Parchment paper
- Peel the apples, remove the core, cut into cubes approx. 2-3 cm thick. Using a hand mixer, beat the eggs with sugar for 2-3 minutes on the highest setting until frothy. Add flour and whip for another 1-2 minutes.
- Line the bottom of a springform or baking dish with baking paper, cut off any excess paper. Grease the edges of the pan with butter and sprinkle with flour. Put the batter in the baking pan and sprinkle with apples. Bake in a preheated oven at 160ºC for approx. 45 minutes.
