Vanilla-Amaretto Punch

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 tbsp cherry(s), dried
  • 8 tbsp Amaretto
  • 1 vanilla pod(s)
  • 1 sachet of vanilla sugar
  • 50 g sugar, fine brown
  • 1 liter dry white wine
  • Maple syrup or honey to taste

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Place the cherries in 4 heatproof glasses and top each with 2 tablespoons of Amaretto. Let it steep for about 30 minutes. Split the vanilla pod lengthwise and scrape out the seeds. Simmer the wine, sugar, vanilla sugar, and scraped seeds gently in a saucepan for about 5 minutes. Pour into the glasses with the cherries and sweeten to taste with maple syrup or honey.
