Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 3 egg yolks
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp vanilla sugar
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 375 ml milk
  • 1 vanilla pod(s), the pulp

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Whisk the egg yolks, sugar, vanilla sugar, and cornstarch until smooth. Then whisk in the milk and add the pulp and pod (separately) to the milk. Whisk over low heat until the sauce thickens. Do not allow it to boil. Remove the pod.
