Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 200 g butter
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 vanilla pod(s), the pulp
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 50 g sugar
  • 6 m.-sized eggs
  • 300 g flour
  • 1 tsp, leveled baking powder
  • ⅛ liter milk
  • Fat, for the waffle iron

Instructions

Working time approx. 50 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

Whisk together the fat, salt, vanilla seeds, vanilla sugar, and sugar until frothy. Gradually beat in the eggs. Combine the flour and baking powder and stir in alternately with the milk. Pour a small scoop of batter into a hot, greased waffle iron. Bake about 12 waffles one at a time over medium heat until golden brown. Serve while still warm.
