- 375 g flour
- 100 g powdered sugar
- 250 g margarine, vegan, room temperature
- 1 tbsp cocoa powder

without egg, milk or other animal products
Make a smooth dough from flour, powdered sugar, and margarine. Wrap two-thirds of the dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate. Knead the remaining third of the dough with the cocoa powder, also wrap it in plastic wrap, and refrigerate. Chill the doughs for one hour. Roll out both doughs to as equal a size as possible, overlap them, and form into a log. If you have trouble rolling them out, place the doughs between two sheets of baking paper and roll them out. Then roll the log up again and cut heart-shaped shapes out of the dough using a cookie cutter. Bake on baking paper for 15-20 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius, until the cookies are lightly browned. This recipe makes about 40 cookies.
