Vegan Pancakes – Basic Recipe

  • 250 g Flour (gf works too)
  • 160 g Chickpea flour
  • 2 Tl Sugar
  • 1 Tl Salt
  • 1 Tl Baking powder
  • 600 ml Water
  • Oil for frying


  • Put the dry ingredients in a bowl and stir well with a whisk until the powder is homogeneous.
  • Mix in the water while stirring from the middle and stir the dough until smooth.
  • Let the dough rest for about 20 to 30 minutes.
  • Brush a coated pan with a little oil and gradually fry the pancakes.
  • My pan was about 8 inches and there were 12 pancakes.
  • You can fill or top the pancakes as you like. Whether sweet or salty.
  • If you want, you can add finely chopped fruit or vegetables to the dough, mix in and bake with it.
