Vegetarian carrot spread

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 250 g carrot(s)
  • 1 clove(s) garlic
  • 1 tsp cumin, ground
  • ½ tsp Pul Biber
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 dashes lemon juice
  • some salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

great substitute for sausage and cheese

Scrub the carrots thoroughly and cut them into large pieces, still with the skin on. Cover and cook in a pot with a little salted water for about 15 minutes, until tender. Drain the water and let cool slightly. Peel and press the garlic into the pan, then puree everything with a hand blender. Add the cumin, pul biber, and olive oil and mix well. Season to taste with lemon juice, salt, and freshly ground pepper. Black olives are delicious with this dish.
