Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 eggs
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 1 cup(s) milk, sour cream or yogurt
  • 2 cups flour
  • 75 g margarine (liquid, cooled)
  • Dissolve 1 tsp baking soda (bicarbonate) in a little vinegar (careful, it foams up)

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Mix all ingredients up to and including the margarine thoroughly. Stir in the dissolved baking soda before baking. Heat up the waffle iron and grease it thoroughly (top and bottom) before baking. It shouldn’t be necessary afterward. Eat with a spoonful of jam!
