Warm winter apple dessert

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 1 jar apple compote, 360 g
  • 1 handful of almond sticks
  • 1 handful of walnuts or macadamia nuts
  • 1 tsp gingerbread spice
  • vanilla sugar
  • Cinnamon
  • Cremefine Vanilla, room temperature
  • Calvados or Amaretto

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Pour the apple compote into a bowl. Roughly chop the walnuts or macadamia nuts. Add the almonds, nuts, and gingerbread spice, and season with cinnamon and vanilla sugar. Before serving, warm in the microwave or in a double boiler and top with Cremefine Vanilla. If you like, you can also add a tablespoon of Calvados or Amaretto to the apple mixture, but then let it sit for at least 3 hours.
