Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 900 g potatoes
  • 3 tsp salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 100 g flour
  • Mett – smoked sausage

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Grate the potatoes, add salt, eggs, and flour, and mix. Grease a small loaf pan, layer half of the potato mixture, top with smoked Mettwurst, and then layer the remaining potato mixture. Bake at 200°C for approximately 50-60 minutes. Pothucke can be prepared the day before; cut into slices and fry in oil until golden brown. It also freezes well.
