White Cabbage Stew
The perfect white cabbage stew recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 1 White cabbage
- 2 Carrots
- 1 Chopped onion
- Sunflower oil
- Butter
- Dried meat
- Bacon
- 500 g Veal
- 7 Peeled garlic clove
- 2 tsp Vegetable broth
- 2 tsp Paprika spice
- Parsley
- Pepper
- Salt
- Water
- Heat the oil and butter in a large saucepan, cut the onions and carrots into small pieces and fry them in them.
- Put the dried meat and meat in bite-sized pieces in the saucepan and sear them.
- Add garlic cloves (roughly chopped), vegetable stock, paprika seasoning (I use smoked paprika), parsley and pepper
- Deglaze with water.
- Roughly chop the cabbage. Put half of the cut cabbage in the saucepan. Now season a lot of salt and then put the remaining cabbage on top.
- Pour water (for me it was 1.5-2 liters) and let it simmer for 1 hour with the lid on. Possibly add a little more water. To taste.
