Ingredients for 12 servings:

  • 150 g white chocolate
  • 75 ml milk
  • 250 g flour
  • 2 tsp, heaped baking powder
  • 2 eggs
  • 125 g crème fraîche
  • 100 g sugar
  • 3 packets of vanilla sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Preheat the oven to 180°C. Grease 12-cup muffin tins or use paper baking cups. Chop the white chocolate slightly, place it in a small metal bowl, and melt it with the milk in a double boiler (simply place a small bowl in a sieve to hold it in place in the pan). Let the mixture cool slightly. Mix the flour and baking powder. Mix the eggs with the crème fraîche, sugar, vanilla sugar, and chocolate mixture. Quickly add the flour mixture and stir in. Pour the batter into the muffin tin. Bake the muffins in the center of the oven for 20 to 25 minutes. Let the muffins cool slightly in the tin and then remove from the tin.
