White wine cream with peaches

Spread the love

Ingredients for 8 servings:

  • 1 large can of peach(s)
  • 2 pkt. sauce powder, vanilla, for cooking
  • 4 tbsp sugar
  • ¼ liter peach juice (can)
  • ¼ liter wine, white, dry
  • 1 cup whipped cream
  • 1 tbsp vanilla sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 8 hours; Total time approx. 8 hours 15 minutes

Drain the peaches, reserving the juice and measuring out 1/4 liter. Cut the peaches into small pieces and place in a bowl. Mix the sauce mix with a little peach juice and the sugar according to the package instructions. Boil the remaining juice with the wine, add the sauce mix, and bring to a boil briefly, stirring constantly. Pour the sauce over the peach pieces and let it cool (preferably overnight—so it’s well prepared). Whip the cream with the vanilla sugar until stiff and fold in. The cream only tastes good once the cream has been folded in. So don’t be put off by the taste of the sauce!
