Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 tbsp butter
  • ½ small onion(s)
  • 1 small piece(s) of ginger
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 100 ml white wine
  • 150 ml cream
  • 50 ml vegetable stock, optional
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Sauté the finely chopped onion and ginger in butter and add the flour, stirring constantly with a whisk. Deglaze with white wine and simmer for 2-3 minutes, then add the cream and, if desired, vegetable stock. Season with salt and pepper.
