Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 250 g flour, whole grain
- 200 ml water, hot
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- Flour for the work surface
- Fat for the pan
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes
Simple flatbreads for pizza bases, wraps, burritos…
Combine flour, salt, and oil. Knead the dough on a floured surface for 3-4 minutes until soft and elastic. Divide the dough into four portions and form into balls. Cover with plastic wrap and let rest for 30 minutes. Roll each ball out thinly with a rolling pin. Spray a large pan with shortening and bake each flatbread for 2-3 minutes on each side.
