Wine pudding à la Aunt Rosa

Ingredients for 8 servings:

  • ¾ liter white wine, sweet, preferably Riesling
  • ¼ liter of water
  • 5 eggs
  • 50 g vanilla pudding powder
  • 5 tbsp, heaped sugar
  • 1 lemon(s), the juice

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 3 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 3 hours 25 minutes

Combine all ingredients in a saucepan and whisk vigorously. Place the pan on the stove and bring the pudding to a boil, stirring continuously with a whisk. Pour the pudding into a large bowl and let it cool. Then chill in the refrigerator for at least an hour. Serve the wine pudding with whipped cream and cookies. Caution: Not for children! This recipe contains the alcohol of one bottle of white wine!
