Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 3 eggs
  • 150 g sugar
  • 75 g flour
  • 75 g cornstarch
  • 400 g cream cheese
  • 500 g quark
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 200 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 2 tbsp rum, OR:
  • 1 bottle of rum flavoring
  • 1 pack of jelly (woodruff flavor)
  • 2 cups of cream
  • possibly kiwi(s)
  • possibly cake glaze
  • possibly chocolate

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

Beat the eggs and sugar evenly for 8 minutes. Carefully fold in the flour and cornstarch with a whisk. Pour the batter onto a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake at 175°C for 20 minutes. Prepare the jelly according to the instructions, using only 250 ml of water. Mix together the cream cheese, quark, lemon juice, sugar, and rum (or rum flavoring). Stir in the lukewarm jelly, then carefully stir in the whipped cream. Spread the mixture onto the cooled base and refrigerate overnight (!). Decorate with kiwi and a cake glaze or chocolate, if desired.
