- 1 kg plum(s), yellow
- 500 g gelling sugar 2:1

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 4 minutes; Total time approx. 2 hours 19 minutes
Wash, pit, and finely chop the yellow plums, and place them in a saucepan. Add the preserving sugar and mix everything together. Let the sugared plums stand for about 2 hours until the juice has formed. Then puree everything. Let the jam boil for about 4 minutes. Test for settling and immediately pour into hot, rinsed jars.
