Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 150 g butter
  • 50 g sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 300 g natural yogurt (3.5% fat)
  • 400 g flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • n. B. water

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Separate the eggs. Beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form. In a separate bowl, cream the butter and sugar until fluffy. Add the egg yolks and yogurt to this mixture. Combine the flour, baking powder, and salt and stir into the batter. Carefully add enough water until the batter is thick. Finally, gently fold in the beaten egg whites. Bake the batter in batches in a preheated waffle iron. Tip: If desired, you can mix a little grated lemon zest into the batter, especially in summer.
