Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 kg pumpkin flesh
  • 125 ml water
  • 1 kg sugar
  • Ginger, ground
  • 1 lemon(s), untreated, juice

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Cut the pumpkin flesh into cubes, add water to the boil, and simmer for 30 minutes. Stir occasionally. Add the sugar, ginger, and lemon juice and continue to simmer for 4-5 minutes, stirring. Pour the jam into prepared jars while still hot and seal immediately.
