The perfect spelled rolls (wheat-free) recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 600 g Spelled flour type 630
- 400 g Spelled flour type 1050
- 2 cube Fresh yeast
- 15 g Salt
- 600 ml Lukewarm water
- 4 tbsp Olive oil
- 20 g Honey liquid
- Dissolve the fresh yeast in lukewarm water. In the meantime, put all the remaining ingredients in a bowl. Then add the lukewarm water with the yeast to the bowl and knead well with a dough hook. Cover the dough with a towel, put in a warm place and let rise for an hour.
- Flour the worktop well and knead the dough again with your hands. Now shape the dough into rolls. Give about 16 to 20 rolls. Spread 6 pieces on a baking sheet with a good gap. These are covered for another 20 minutes so that the dough can continue to rise. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
- After the 20 minutes have been left to rise covered, the first tray is placed in the oven for 25 minutes at 180 degrees. When the first sheet of rolls has been baked, take the rolls out of the oven and let them cool. Then the next sheet goes straight into the oven and when that is done the last sheet.
