Orange Syrup with Vanilla
The perfect orange syrup with vanilla recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 10 Pc. Organic juice oranges
- 0,5 Pc. Organic lemon
- 300 g Sugar
- 0,5 pole Vanilla pod scraped out or
- 1 packet Vanilla sugar
- Squeeze the 10 oranges and half a lemon and place in a saucepan.
- Mix with the pulp of half the vanilla pod and the sugar and bring to a boil. Let simmer for about 20-30 minutes at medium temperature until a syrup is formed …. it depends on the stove sometimes faster sometimes slower.
- If you don’t like the black dots in the syrup, you can also use 1-2 pkg of vanilla sugar, depending on your taste.
- The amount of syrup is approx. 400 – 500 ml depending on the amount of juice in the oranges.
- Place a hot-rinsed bottle on a wet cloth that will not burst and fill with the syrup.
