Horseradish sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 stalk(s) horseradish
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • ¼ liter meat broth
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • 1 pinch(s) of sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Scrape and finely grate the horseradish. Cover with a plate to prevent it from sticking. Melt the butter and stir in the flour until it turns yellow. Then add the hot meat broth and bring everything to a boil three times. Stir the grated horseradish into the sauce, bring back to a boil briefly, and season with salt, pepper, and sugar. Serve with cooked beef.
