Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 4 slices of smoked ham (thumb-thick)
- 500 ml milk
- 2 eggs
- Breadcrumbs
- Salt
Instructions
Working time approx. 25 minutes; Rest time approx. 4 hours; Total time approx. 4 hours 25 minutes
Soak the ham in milk for 4 hours to draw out some of the salt and make it nice and tender. Then beat it and coat it with eggs and breadcrumbs. Then fry until crispy. This goes wonderfully with asparagus.
