Whole Grain Bread

Whole grain bread

  • 450 ml Water, filtered lukewarm
  • 1 tsp Raw cane sugar
  • 250 g Whole wheat flour
  • 250 g Wholemeal spelled flour
  • 1 cube Yeast
  • 10 g Salt
  • 2 tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1 tsp Butter for brushing
  1. Put lukewarm filtered water, raw cane sugar and the crumbled yeast in a mixing bowl / food processor. Stir until everything has dissolved. Then add the remaining ingredients one after the other, except for the butter. Knead and either decant or let rise covered in a warm place. About 1 hour.
  2. Then take it out once and knead it with your hands. Now take the butter and brush a bread pan with it. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Then let the dough slide in. Unfortunately I forgot to take this picture. Cover and let rise again for a quarter of an hour.
  3. Then put in the preheated oven and bake for about 50 to 60 minutes. The bread is ready when it sounds hollow when you knock it. After baking, place on a rack and cool slightly. Then fall out of the bread pan and let cool down completely.
