Albanian Top Peppers with Minced Rice and Minced Meat Filling (Dollma)

Ingredients
 

  • 200 g Ground beef
  • 2 Glasses Risotto rice
  • 0,5 tablespoon Vegeta spice
  • 2 teaspoon Salt
  • 850 ml Hot water
  • 0,5 tablespoon Paprika powder
  • 1 piece Onion
  • 4 piece Pointed peppers red, green, yellow

Instructions
 

  • Fry the minced meat with a little oil and chopped onion. When it's done, add the rice and remove from the stove, add the ingredients, salt, Vegeta, and paprika noble sweet (Slatka), stir. Remove the stems and the stones from the top peppers with the tip of a knife, wash the top peppers. Fill with rice mixture, not to the top about 3/4, place on a round baking sheet or casserole dish. Spread the rest of the rice all around. Bring the water to a boil, meanwhile preheat the oven to 240 degrees. Pour water over the top peppers and bake in the oven for about 18 minutes. If the rice is not done yet, put aluminum foil over it and let it cook.
