Almond and banana flapjacks

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 360 g oat flakes
  • 2 bananas
  • 6 tbsp maple syrup or honey
  • 6 tbsp almond butter
  • 4 tbsp coconut oil for the dough
  • some coconut oil to grease the mold

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

English oat bars

Place the oats in a bowl. Peel the bananas, cut them into pieces, and puree them or mash them finely with a fork. Place the mashed bananas, maple syrup or honey, almond butter, and coconut oil in a pan and bring to a simmer. Stir frequently until the coconut oil has completely melted. Pour this mixture onto the oats and mix well. Grease a square baking dish with coconut oil and press the mixture into the pan. Bake the batter in a preheated oven at 200°C for 15-20 minutes. Remove the batter from the oven, let it cool, and cut into rectangles. The flapjacks will keep for at least a week if refrigerated.
