Apple fritters

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 20 g yeast
  • 250 ml milk
  • 150 g flour
  • 4 apples
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 lemon(s), untreated, zest, grated
  • 4 eggs
  • 50 g sultanas
  • 50 g hazelnuts, chopped
  • Butter for frying
  • 1 pinch of cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Dissolve the yeast in the lukewarm milk. Make a well of flour in a bowl, add the yeast milk, and mix. Add the diced apples and the remaining ingredients and mix. Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place for 30 minutes. Then cut out the cakes and fry them in a pan with butter. While the apple cakes are still hot, toss them in cinnamon sugar and serve.
