Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 600 ml apple juice
- 1 handful of mint leaves, fresh
- 150 g gelling sugar 2:1
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 25 minutes
It’s also a great gift
Pour 150 ml of boiling water over the mint leaves (reserve a few for later) and let it steep for about 1 hour. Combine the peppermint tea with the apple juice and preserving sugar in a saucepan and bring to a boil while stirring. Boil for 4 minutes, then add the remaining mint leaves. Pour into jars and seal.
