Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 sausages, knackers, frankfurters, wieners or other
  • 4 slices of cheese
  • 4 slice(s) bacon, belly bacon or other
  • Oil, for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Halve the sausages lengthwise. Cut the cheese into strips the same width as the sausage and place them between the halves. Then wrap the sausage in bacon. Secure the ends with a toothpick. Then fry the sausages in a pan until the cheese is melted and the ham is crispy. Serve with anything you like (e.g., fresh bread, mixed salad, potato/meat salad, etc.).
