Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 1.2 g potatoes
- 200 g bacon (without rind) or ham
- 5 m.-sized eggs
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp white pepper
- 150 g flour
- 150 ml milk
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 day 6 hours; Total time approx. 1 day 6 hours 30 minutes
Peel the potatoes and coarsely grate them. Dice the bacon or use diced ham. Mix the potato mixture with the milk, eggs, and flour until a smooth batter forms. Finally, carefully fold in the bacon. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Let the batter rest for about 30 minutes and then season again. Preheat a waffle iron. Spoon the batter onto the waffle iron in portions and bake. This goes very well with beef goulash.
