Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 m.-sized apples
  • 50 g marzipan paste
  • 100 ml cream
  • n. B. sugar
  • e.g. cinnamon

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Sauce for ice cream and cake or as dessert

Preheat oven to 175°C. Halve the apples and bake cut-side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper for 15-20 minutes. Chop the cooled apples while still warm and blend them with the crumbled marzipan and cream using a hand blender until smooth. Add sugar and cinnamon to taste.
