Baked goat cheese with tomato salad and farmer's bread

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 4 slices of cheese (goat cheese, not so thickly sliced)
  • Honey
  • Thyme
  • 4 tomatoes
  • 1 shallot(s)
  • 2 tbsp oil (olive oil)
  • 2 slices of farmhouse bread
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Place the goat cheese in a greased baking dish. Drizzle with honey and thyme. Bake in a preheated oven (approx. 180°C) until the cheese begins to brown. Dice the tomatoes and shallot and mix. Season with olive oil, 1 tablespoon of honey, pepper, and salt. When the cheese is ready, divide it between two plates along with the tomatoes and bread and serve immediately. Absolutely delicious! And quick.
